Hi, I’m Neva.
I began working in the non-profit sector as an attorney more than twenty years ago. As a public defender and later a legal aid attorney, I have worked with many community members who found themselves in need of critical legal services but unable to afford an attorney.
As the years went on and I moved into the Executive Director role, my focus shifted from providing legal services to clients toward non-profit management, organizational management, leadership, and support of others working in the non-profit sector. The opening of Polley Scott Consulting marked my move away from the practice of law and into a non-profit management consultant role. I will not serve as your attorney through Polley Scott Consulting. I will bring my years of experience in the non-profit sector to help you plan, build, and grow your non-profit today. I welcome the opportunity to work with you!
Like you, I know firsthand both the joys and the trials of the work. I’m not speaking in platitudes when I say, “I get it - I’ve been there.” Because I do, and I have! If you’re looking for support with planning, building, and growing your organization, please reach out any time. Working with people is my passion. Whether our initial meeting results in a professional relationship or is simply a good opportunity to connect across the non-profit sector, I would love to hear from you.
